Rick White
Rick White joins the SPI Team bringing more than thirty years of management and securities regulatory experience from both the public and private sectors. His government sector experience includes roles ranging from Securities Examiner to Division Director at the Florida Office of Financial Regulation (OFR). He also served as Deputy Director for Program Operations at the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV).
While working at the OFR, Rick led the design and implementation of multiple technological advancements ranging from the development of investment adviser examination procedures employed by states nationwide to the development of an enterprise-wide registration and examination tracking system. Rick was an active member of the North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA) leading and participating in multiple project groups. He is a skillful negotiator of contracts and regulatory settlements and has led a variety of investigations regarding complex securities cases. Rick has also received numerous awards from the OFR and NASAA.
While at FLHSMV, he was responsible for four bureaus within the Division of Motorist Services. He worked on numerous process improvement projects and procurements and received an award from the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators for his work on the Automated Vehicle Subcommittee.
Rick holds a Bachelor of Science degree, with a major in Finance and a Masters in Business Administration with a major in Finance, both from Florida State University. The SPI Team welcomes him and his unique expertise.
