Lisa Aaron
Lisa Aaron has a long history of serving in state government in Florida. Her expertise in all areas of information technology along with her experience and knowledge of government processes in Florida will be a huge asset to the SPI Team and the clients of SPI.
Lisa spent 22 years as a public official in the State of Florida serving as Chief Information Officer for the Attorney General’s Office. During that time, she also served on the State CIO Council and worked with numerous technology and policy development work groups.
Prior to her role as CIO at the Attorney General’s Office, Lisa served as a Senior Executive Assistant in Public Information. In that role, she was responsible for designing and implementing digital information systems to facilitate communication and information sharing within the agency and between law enforcement entities and other agency clients. Earlier in her career, Lisa served at the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles and also in the state’s Office of Management and Planning.
During her government tenure Lisa served on many technology panels and presented at national meetings. She has extensive project management experience and was named Manager of the Year during her time at the Attorney General’s Office.
Lisa is a graduate of Florida State University and holds a B.S. in Political Science and a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Information Technology. She and her family reside in Tallahassee.
