Joe Yuhas
As a consultant, Joe Yuhas adds his deep understanding of Arizona’s unique political landscape and brings decades of experience to the Strategic Partnerships Inc. (SPI) Team. Joe has been involved in projects, programs, and initiatives throughout the state at both the state and local levels.
Joe served as the Deputy Director of the Arizona Department of Commerce at the pleasure of the governor. In this role, he provided day-to-day management and supported the agency in its mission to foster job creation and economic opportunity. He worked in concert with state and local policymakers, municipal staff, business and community organizations, and other stakeholders to promote the economic vitality of the state and to ensure that a skilled workforce was available statewide.
Before relocating to Arizona, Joe held elected public office in his native state of New Jersey. He served in several municipal and county offices before advancing to the New Jersey State Assembly.
Joe earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Rider University in Lawrence, New Jersey. He has been honored for his work by the Arizona Society of Association Executives, the Fiesta Bowl, Arizona Tourism Alliance, the Greater Flagstaff Economic Council, the National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development, and the Arizona Human Rights Campaign. He is an inductee of the Arizona Tourism Hall of Fame. The SPI Team welcomes his expertise.
