Glenn Coffee
Both as a businessman and longtime public servant, SPI Consultant Glenn Coffee has a unique perspective on both the public and private sectors and is experienced in finding ways for the two to reach common goals. Glenn is a former member of the Oklahoma State Senate, having been elected in 1998 and serving through 2011. His accomplishments in state government are impressive – serving in the Senate as Minority Floor Leader and President Pro Tempore. After ending his service in the Senate, Glenn was appointed by Gov. Mary Fallin as Oklahoma’s Secretary of State.
Many of the issues Glenn championed while serving in the Oklahoma Senate resulted from long-term relationships with local, state and federal officials, particularly in the areas of public education, higher education, public safety, law enforcement and human services. Those relationships not only afforded him rare insight into in the operations, structure and needs of the public entities, but also provided him with a vast network of friends at all levels and jurisdictions of government.
The longtime state senator has also worked closely with state employees on many issues. He has been recognized by numerous associations for his efforts.
A practicing attorney who focuses on government-related issues, Glenn holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Northeastern State University and earned his law degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law.
