Ed Benjamin
Ed Benjamin can point to $15 billion in government contract awards to illustrate the value of his experience in government contracting. As a consultant in SPI’s Special Services Division, he provides valuable services that are backed by years of experience and knowledge related to procurement policies and procedures that have led to many contracting successes.
Ed is a retired United States Air Force officer. During his active duty career he supported federal procurement and acquisition of major weapons systems. He also assisted with preparing winning proposals that ranged from a U.S. presidential helicopter contract award to major logistics support services contract awards.
As both a proposal writer and manager, Ed’s talents during his career have resulted in securing multiple wireless downlink technology contracts with agencies at the state and local government levels of law enforcement. Other successful contract awards secured by his teams were on such varied issues as food services, information technology solutions and building operations and maintenance.
Ed is the author of several books that address procurement, contracting issues and how to successfully do business with or receive grants from local, state and federal governments.
