Our Team

Strategic Partnerships Inc. (SPI) is pleased to welcome Deanna Jonovich to the team. She brings knowledge, understanding, experience, and relationships developed over a 30-year public service career. Deanna has worked on collaborations across multiple sectors to solve complex issues facing government and local communities.

She recently served as the Assistant City Manager in Phoenix, Arizona. Deanna provided leadership and direction to the Deputy City Managers and multiple city departments in this role. This included working closely with the executive team to develop a $4 billion budget.

Her career forced her to gain significant expertise in the areas of airports, economic development, human services, government relations, equity issues, neighborhood services, libraries, parks and recreation, education, and community initiatives.

In addition to her public service experience, Deanna has mentored and worked to help empower other professionals. She served as a member of multiple organizations, including the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Arizona City/County Management Association, Local Initiative Support Corporation, and Downtown Phoenix Incorporated.

Deanna holds both a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s Degree in Leadership from Northern Arizona University.
