Michigan – The city of Grand Haven is evaluating potential public-private partnerships (P3s) for the redevelopment of Chinook Pier.

Restaurants, retail stores, and a farmer’s market are among the uses under consideration for the site where a series of shops previously operated before they were demolished due to mold issues.

Grand Haven’s city manager said that although one firm has submitted a letter of interest to the city to develop the property, city staff would be working on design plans for the pier’s redevelopment in addition to other planning efforts.
